FAQs

What is the cost of admission? We operate on a "pay what you can" admission rate. When you purchase tickets in person or online, we encourage guests to consider whether they can pay $3, $2, or $1 per ticket. We believe every child and family should have access to learning and play! If you are unable to pay today, please enjoy your visit with our compliments.

Do I have to buy tickets in advance? No. While tickets are available in advance online, they are also available for purchase at the museum when you arrive. However, please note that if you arrive without advance tickets during a very busy time, we may need to ask you to return later when we are less busy due to space restrictions.

I am an adult with no children. Can I purchase tickets to come to the museum? No. It is museum policy that all adults must be accompanied by a child ages 17 and younger, and vice versa.

Can I drop my kids off to play at the museum while I go elsewhere in the mall? No. Adults (18 years or older) must supervise their children at all times. Adults will not be permitted to leave their children in the facility unless there are programs where the adult has followed the museum’s procedures for drop off.

What ages are the Gallup Children's Museum exhibits geared towards? We recommend kids (and adults) of all ages to explore and enjoy our exhibits, but the ones who'll likely have the most fun are children ages 2-8.

Is there a restroom in the museum? We encourage families to use the mall bathrooms near the food court. For families who would require a changing table, ask a staff member to escort you to the museum's back bathroom.

Can I bring my stroller? Stroller parking space is limited in the museum. Please consider leaving your stroller at home or parking it outside of the museum windows. The museum is not responsible for stolen strollers.

Can I bring my food into the museum? We ask that families enjoy all food and drinks in the mall public walkways or food court. For young children who need a snack, please keep food in the Snack Area. We are a peanut-free facility.
